Aquatic Effects Monitoring Program (AEMP) Fish Response Plan, Version 4.0, Ekati Diamond Mine (Arctic Canadian Diamond Company, July 2025)
Burgundy Diamond Mines submits the Aquatic Response Plan for Fish, Version 4.0, to address Action Level exceedances observed in 2024 for catch per unit effort and mercury and selenium concentrations in fish tissues in the Koala and King-Cujo watersheds at the Ekati Diamond Mine. The plan proposes response actions including studies on mercury bioaccumulation sources and methylmercury proportions in large-bodied fish tissues, and continued monitoring of mercury and selenium in water, sediment, and fish tissues.
