Assessment of Representative Protected Areas, Northwest Territories, Relative to NWT Diamonds Project (World Wildlife Fund Canada, February 1996)
This report prepared for World Wildlife Fund Canada assesses the adequacy of protected areas in the Northwest Territories relative to the proposed Ekati Diamond Mine project. It recommends that protected areas planning be completed immediately before project approval and that the environmental impact statement comprehensively address cumulative mining impacts on conservation needs and watershed integrity.
