Barren-ground Caribou Telemetry Analyses, Study Area and Land Cover Classification, Ekati Diamond Mine (Arctic Canadian Diamond Company, November 2022)
This report documents decisions on study area expansion and landcover data selection for barren-ground caribou movement analyses at Ekati Diamond Mine. The analysis compares multiple landcover datasets (LC2009, EOSD, LC2000) and concludes that merging LC2000 (ETM+) and LC2009 classifications provides continuous coverage capturing 93% of Bathurst herd telemetry locations.
