Contaminated Snow Containment Facility 2004 Annual Report (EBA Engineering, March 2005)
This 2004 annual report documents the operational activities and management of the Contaminated Snow Containment Facility (CSCF) at Ekati Diamond Mine, including ice transfer, facility inspections, water sampling results, and removal of hydrocarbon-impacted water and debris. The facility successfully contained approximately 422 m³ of hydrocarbon-impacted ice and managed 234.5 m³ of contaminated water disposal during the 2004 operational season.
