Institute for Environmental Monitoring and Research Fact Sheet (Government of Canada, September 1996)
This fact sheet describes the establishment and mandate of the Institute for Environmental Monitoring and Research, created in December 1995 to oversee environmental monitoring of allied military flight training activities at Goose Bay. The Institute serves as an advisory body with Aboriginal representation, responsible for effects research, monitoring, and mitigation while supporting the viability of the low-level flight training program.
