Lake Fish-Out Program, Misery Lake Data Report (BHP Billiton, June 1998)
This report documents the 1997 fish-out program at Misery Lake conducted by Rescan Environmental Services for BHP Diamonds Inc. in preparation for lake drainage and open pit mining development. A total of 146 lake trout were captured and removed using gill nets over 21 days of fishing, with biological data collected on size, weight, condition, and reproductive status to comply with fisheries authorization requirements.
