Land Use Permit W2017D0004 Inspection, Misery Camp, Ekati Diamond Mine (Government of the Northwest Territories, Environment and Climate Change, May 2023)
GNWT-ECC conducted a Land Use Permit inspection of the Ekati Diamond Mine's Misery Camp on February 28 and March 14, 2023, under permit W2017D0004. The inspection identified two minor concerns: a frozen and plugged refueling station containment sump requiring thawing before freshet, and unlabelled hydrocarbon storage containers requiring inventory and labelling.
