A comprehensive literature review documenting the life history characteristics and lacustrine habitat requirements of 45 freshwater fish species occurring in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut, with detailed information on spawning, young-of-the-year, juvenile, and adult habitat preferences across four life stages for 36 species. The report identifies substantial data gaps in the understanding of northern freshwater fish habitat requirements and recommends further studies.
