Mackenzie Valley Resource Management Act (Government of Canada, March 2004)
The Mackenzie Valley Resource Management Act (2004) establishes an integrated system of land and water management in the Northwest Territories, creating land use planning boards, land and water boards, and an environmental impact review board to regulate resource use in settlement areas of the Gwich'in, Sahtu, and Tlicho First Nations in accordance with their comprehensive land claim agreements.
